Travis LaBarge
Extra Scapes is locally owned and operated by Travis LaBarge, a lifelong Albuquerque native with deep roots in New Mexico and a multi-generation background in landscaping and outdoor construction.
Travis grew up immersed in the landscape industry, learning firsthand what separates average work from craftsmanship that lasts. That early exposure — paired with a natural eye for design, structure, and problem-solving — laid the foundation for what Extra Scapes would eventually become: a design-first, detail-driven outdoor construction firm focused on building spaces that are both visually refined and intelligently engineered.
With more than 22 years of experience, Travis holds multiple New Mexico contractor licenses including GB02, GB98, and MS06, along with additional licensing through the New Mexico Department of Agriculture related to landscaping and plant materials. He also maintains certifications with ICPI, TechniSeal, Foxterra, 4K Aluminum, and ICF pool construction, ensuring that projects are designed and built using proven materials and professional standards.
Extra Scapes is also known for utilizing one of the most advanced landscape design processes available in New Mexico, combining detailed 3D design technology, drone imaging, and construction planning to help homeowners fully visualize and refine their outdoor space before building begins.
